Like every year, when winter approaches, many people plan their Christmas holidays on the snow or white weeks in the mountains, perhaps in Madonna di Campiglio. Excepting the lucky few who live in the mountains or who reach the ski slopes every weekend, skiing is a sport that is practiced by most people only for a few days a year. Often, however, people face their holidays in the snow with little physical preparation… so the ski lesson becomes really tiring and tackling even a small slope becomes a nightmare. But above all, these skiers will be more at risk of suffering injuries, and ending up in hospital is certainly not a popular destination for our winter holidays.
So if we want our ski holidays to be fun and unforgettable, without having to stop at the refuge to wait for the wildest friends or even go back to the hotel to get bored, we must arrive ready following a training path. Even the equipment we have at our feet will affect the effort, old skis and boots will increase the effort required of our body. But then… what to do to be ready? Let's find out with Cinzia and her tips to prepare us for skiing.
