Davide Romano
Although I was born and raised in Milan, I’ve always had a strong passion for the mountains and sports. It was this passion that led me to move to the Aosta Valley, where I turned my hobby of snowboarding into a proper career as a snowboard instructor.
I then relocated to Pinzolo in Trentino, where I currently work for the Italian Ski School of the Adamello Brenta in Madonna di Campiglio.
Snowboarding has enabled me to grow professionally, gain valuable experience and discover places that I still treasure today. These include several winter seasons abroad in Cardrona, New Zealand and Cerro Catedral in Argentina, as well as teaching snowboarding in Les Deux Alpes, France, during the summer for many years.
As well as snowboarding, I love spending my free time outdoors, especially hiking.
I also have a passion for surfing, which has enabled me to travel to incredible places such as Hawaii, Baja California Sur, California and Bali. However, I have had fewer opportunities to surf recently.
In recent years, I have also developed a keen interest in plant-based cooking. I see this as an opportunity to experiment, learn about new ingredients and discover new flavours. I particularly enjoy creating tasty and imaginative dishes using simple, natural ingredients.
I see myself as a dynamic and curious person with a passion for sport and the outdoors. I love travelling and discovering new places and cultures, and above all, I love having experiences that allow me to challenge myself and grow as a person.
