Group Lessons for Children: "Everyone Wins"

Learning to Ski at Each Child's Own Pace

Dear Parents,

At Adamello Brenta Italian Ski School, we believe that learning on the snow should be a positive, peaceful, and motivating experience, especially for children who are building the technical and emotional foundations of the sport.

- From observing groups, we've noticed that direct comparisons—especially between very different cultures—can sometimes generate pressure or insecurity, impacting the enjoyment of skiing and self-confidence.

- Furthermore, new safety regulations on ski slopes and during competitions require much more time than in the past to prepare the course. This time should be taken away from lessons and teaching.

For these reasons, we have chosen to conduct a trial phase of group lessons and no longer offer competitive competitions between children during ski group lessons.

We continue to foster commitment and motivation through snow games, guided tours, motivational challenges, and small personal goals.

We want to reassure you, however: we will still organize a small ceremony with the awarding of medals (all identical), and each child will be able to pick up a gift package at school at the end of the week.

Each child is guided to improve themselves, valuing their progress and respecting their own learning pace.

This approach allows children to feel engaged, capable, and motivated, fostering stronger technical growth and a positive relationship with skiing and the group.

Our goal is to create confident, independent, and happy skiers who experience the mountains and sport as an experience of fun, trust, and respect.

We can't wait to ski with your children!

We're confident you'll enjoy it, and we send you our warmest regards.

Thank you for your trust.
